About Gigi Lubin

She has a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and has lead a team in winning the prestigious Public Relations Society’s (PRSA) Silver Anvil award for consumer products. Gigi was a preferred vendor for media tours with the International Housewares Association for more than a dozen years, in which she showcased a variety of products in top news markets around the country.

A former television reporter, Gigi has strong relationships with the media and pulls together the right people for projects. She is exceptional at securing impactful news stories on behalf of clients and appears on-air as a lifestyle and safety expert/media spokesperson for brands both locally and across the country.

The Chicago Fire Department recently asked Gigi to join the board of the CFD Survive Alive House Foundation, where she immediately spearheaded refreshing the inside of the Survive Alive House itself, located at the spot of Mrs. O’Leary’s famous barn.

Chicago Fire Chief Wally Schroeder recently described her as “like a BB in a can.” Of all the things that people could say to her, Gigi loves that Chicago Fire Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt teases her by calling her “Boss”.
