Challenge: How to stand out among huge players at the largest tech showcase in the world? First Alert tasked us with introducing their new Internet of Things (IOT) Smart Home product line at a venue with bigger, better-known, established tech brands.
Solution: Think like a journalist (many of us are former journalists, after all) and create a compelling media pitch that stands out in the crowd. We combined the media relations strategy with targeted event marketing efforts to create visual opportunities for the media to cover.
Challenge: Promote company’s 50th Anniversary in a meaningful way within industry and Chicago business markets.
Solution: Produce videos with company leaders talking about ATG’s history and where the company plans to go in the future. Videos were used for internal promotion, on the company’s website, as gifts, and in select media pitches.
Challenge: Gain product visibility in key markets after moving sales to Amazon.
Solution: Create mini media tour in target markets with Gigi Lubin as product spokesperson.
Challenge: Create excitement for The Inspired Home Show (formerly the International Home & Housewares Show) in local markets across the country.
Solution: Develop a program featuring key products.
Challenge: Promote summer grilling products with “special moments in the back yard, patio, and home message”.
Solution: Develop targeted media plan targeted to grilling enthusiasts. Contacted experts on their timelines and made Gigi available to appear on camera on client’s behalf.
